After Thursday’s devastating loss to St. Francis (Pa.), the Bobcats got back on track on Saturday to remain in the hunt for their first ever NEC regular season championship. The second-place Quinnipiac men’s basketball team (19-8, 13-3 NEC) picked up a crucial road victory on Saturday night by defeating first-place Robert Morris (19-10, 14-2 NEC) 87-79 at the Charles L. Sewall Center to move within one game of the NEC lead and the No. 1 seed in the NEC Tournament.

The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team needed a win against St. Francis (Pa.) Thursday night to get back into playoff contention. Instead, the Red Flash shot 50 percent from the floor and beat the Bobcats 78-54 at DeGol Arena in Loretto, Pa.

James Feldeine knows this better than anyone. Quinnipiac’s men’s basketball team is in the midst of its best season at the Division I level, due in large part to the senior forward from New York City.
