Chinese Horoscopes are organized into the 12 animals that listened to Buddha before he left the earth.
According to legend, before Buddha departed from earth, he summoned all the animals to bid him farewell for 12 consecutive years.
These animals were given a special privilege, each animal that came was given a year that would be named after them.
The animal that goes along with this year is the animal that Buddha said will be trapped in your heart and stored in your soul. These animals will influence your life in many ways.
The animals that came to visit Buddha are the Rat, the Ox, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake, the Horse, the Sheep, the Monkey, the Rooster, the Dog and the Boar.
The rat is the first animal that went to visit Buddha before he departed. The years ruled by this animal are 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 and 2020.
A Rat personality is charming, hardworking and honest. They are passionate. They give great advice, but can never decide anything for themselves. They are loved by all.
Rats can be power hungry, petty and greedy. They hate spending money and will only spend it on those they love.
This signs’ greatest enemy is the horse, and its best partner is the Dragon and the Monkey.
